Apoteket has a strong first quarter.

It is in Apoteket’s quarterly report for the first three months of 2024 shows that the pharmacy has increased growth. Net sales amounted to SEK 6,094 million, compared to SEK 5,618 million in the same period last year.
Operating profit amounted to SEK 125 million, compared to SEK 82 million the year before, and the operating margin to 2.1 percent compared to 1.5 percent the year before.
The result for the period amounted to SEK 147 million, compared to SEK 119 million in the same period in 2023.
“During the quarter, we continued to implement our strategic direction and I am pleased that our strategy and the moves we are making contribute to progress in all segments,” writes Apoteket CEO Rasmus Nerman in the report’s CEO commentary and continues:
“Every day, thousands of customer meetings take place within Apoteket – customer meetings characterized by genuine care and concern. It is these meetings that form the basis of our success within Apoteket,” he writes.
The report also states that Apoteket, during its annual general meeting, decided on a dividend for 2023 amounting to SEK 263 million.
