The drama invites you to an evening about the role of theater criticism today in a changed media climate. Participating are critics from various daily newspapers and of course the nestor of Swedish theater criticism: Leif Zern. Theater criticism – how to do it? in the Dramatenbaren 27 May.
The evening will be about criticism as a form, about what is a critic’s mission and how criticism can develop. But also about perspective and representation, about a critic’s blind spots and about the theater’s hierarchies.
The panel discussion features: Loretto Villalobos, SvD, Jacob Lundström, DN, Valerie Kyeyune Backström, Expressen and Joel Nordström, dramaturg and screenwriter, Dramaten. Moderator is Anneli Dufva, dramaturg at Dramaten.
There will also be a reading by the actors Hannes Meidal and Marall Nasiri.
Dramatenbaren 27 May from 19.00–21.00 with a break for mingling and the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. The program is free of charge, but a ticket is required.
