The electric scooter company Voi can be found in several Swedish cities, including Stockholm, Gothenburg and Uppsala. After Ms. Snusk’s song release “Voi till min fuckboi”, the company’s CEO Fredrik Hjelm has threatened to sue the record company Gozzi records.

– The absolute best thing would be if the song is taken down from all platforms, but at the very least, we want a public statement from Gozzi Records and Ms. Snusk that makes it clear that you must not drive an electric scooter drunk, says Sofie Cederberg, communications manager at Voi, in SVT :’s program The week’s snacks.

– We believe in freedom of expression and we believe in artistic freedom, replies Ms. Snusk’s manager and record label owner Rasmus Gozzi.

And there won’t be any public statement, according to Rasmus Gozzi.

– No, I don’t think so, he says in the debate programme.

The CEO was advised not to debate – “so pissed off”

When the issue of the song was to be debated in the program, CEO Fredrik Hjelm was replaced by the company’s communications manager, something that is questioned by Rasmus Gozzi.

– Fredrik would have liked to have been here, but if I’m being completely honest. He is so pissed off that we strongly discouraged him from taking part, says Sofie Cederberg.

Miss Snusk about the fight

Miss Snusk says that she finds it difficult to understand why the company reacted so strongly.

– They don’t seem to have much to do, so they want something to happen. We have a lot to do all the time. They have to take responsibility for themselves if they get irritated, says the artist.

In social media, there has been speculation that the fight is a PR coup, something both parties deny.
