Malmö’s municipal housing company MKB will spy on tenants who are suspected of renting out their apartments during Eurovision.
EIA has also issued incorrect information that it is completely prohibited to rent out one’s home during the competition.

Thousands of Malmö residents rent out their houses or apartments during the Eurovision Song Contest. During the competition week, the number of homes in the Malmö region triples on the rental site Airbnb. The prices are often high: An apartment with a bed on Dammfri, for example, is advertised for SEK 9,000 per night.
