IT management company ManageEngine, part of India’s Zoho Corp., is one of the world’s largest technology providers. They have delivered their solutions in Sweden for almost 20 years and it is their partner Inuit who ensures that more people discover and understand ManageEngine’s products in Sweden.

A few weeks ago, ManageEngine together with Inutit held its popular user conference, Userconf24 with 200 participants from several Swedish companies where the company’s CEO Rajesh Ganesan also participated. The conference brought together participants from over 75 Swedish companies.

The event featured speeches from industry leaders, including Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine, and Ramprakash Ramamoorthy, Head of AI & ML Research at Zoho Corporationwhich brought a rich depth of insight and expertise to the events.

An important part of the success journey with ManageEngine has been the many different solutions the company offers, from monitoring switches to log management and patch distribution. For those who work at the technical level in an organization, it will be possible to get everything needed from one and the same supplier, which makes both planning and day-to-day management much easier.

– It has been exciting to see the development here in the Nordics, where ManageEngine was not so well known at the beginning. Today, ManageEngine is a direct alternative to other major players on the market. I think it is partly to do with a new generation of IT managers taking their place in many companies and organizations. These have no mental and emotional ties to the old big suppliers of IT solutions, but want solutions that are easy to use, flexible and affordable, says Thorir Eggertsson, CEO and founder Inuit.

In total, there are around 60 different solutions from ManageEngine and many say that they like the way the products are packaged, that there is a bit of IKEA about them – product packages that are easy to put together and that you can put in place yourself. Also that in many cases it comes with ready-made reports, something that the competitors often charge for or where consultants are needed to produce the customer’s reports.

– Our philosophy is to think value for the customer, which means that we have a very flexible approach to the market, even though we are global, we work very locally and seek a close partnership with our users. We also adapt to their budgets. During the pandemic, we even allowed some customers to pay later. It also happened here in Sweden. We believe in long-term relationships, says Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine.

2024 will continue to be about offering multiple services that are connected and easy to operate and maintain. NIS2, the EU’s mandatory cyber security directive, comes into force already on October 17. Here, for example, it is about being able to collect the company’s logs, and with ManageEngine most of that work is already done.

It is also about the company needing to consolidate the technology stack in order to live up to the requirements for the ability to maintain business continuity.

AI will be in focus for customers in Sweden for the foreseeable future and with the new regulatory framework from the EU, AI-act, companies will have to organize their AI use so that they live up to the new framework. ManageEngine’s AI strategy is to invest in large language models that they then fine-tune for specific areas such as IT security, finance, legal and customer support.

And they have a good grasp of the AI-act and the requirements that will be placed on all AI users in the EU.
