Planned orthopedic operations in Stockholm have been canceled due to the healthcare blockade. This is reported by Ekot.
The blockade came into effect yesterday at 4 p.m.
So far, about 20 operations in the Stockholm region have been cancelled, says chief physician Johan Bratt to Ekot.
– On occasional occasions we have had to resort to protective work, it has concerned ambulance operations.
No new attempts to agree on an agreement have been made and this means that the stop for overtime work remains in place for nurses, among others.
