Central town: Watch out for slipping

Motorcyclists and other road users on two wheels are especially vulnerable when they slip. Our appeal is therefore to avoid driving a motorcycle in central Östersund while we are sealing the dam or to adjust the speed; this to avoid unnecessary accidents.

We will spread salt solution on these streets:

• Färjemansgatan from and including the exits and entrances to Frösöbron, to Rådhusgatan
• Strandgatan from and including the exits and entrances, to Frösöbron to Gränsgatan
• Köpmangatan from the exits and entrances to Frösöbron, to Strandgatan
• Kyrkgatan from Färjemansgatan to Gränsgatan
• Rådhusgatan from Färjemansgatan through the roundabouts at the Great Church up to and including the roundabout at Nedre Vattugatan
• Stuguvägen from and including the roundabout at Rådhusgatan to and including the roundabout at Krondikesvägen

To alert all road users to the risk of slipping, we will post warning signs along the relevant streets.
