A series of accidents have occurred in Västra Götaland during the Wednesday morning, after severe slippage caused it in the traffic.
The landslide bridge over the Göta river has been partially closed during the morning after a motorist lost control of his car and drove into the center guardrail, the police write on their website. A short time later, another accident occurred on the same bridge, where two cars and a truck were involved.
– The drivers have skidded their cars due to the ice, but there were no serious accidents and no people were injured, says Thomas Fuxborg, press spokesperson at the police.
Just before eight o’clock the bridge was once again open to traffic. Also on the E6 between Stenungsund and Kungälv, lanes have been partially blocked after cars have driven off the road – and on county road 160 between Orust and Tjörn, a passenger car has overturned, reports P4 Gothenburg.
