RIGHT NOW: Fire alarm in apartment – emergency services on site

NEWS The emergency services are investigating an alarm about a fire in an apartment building in Skelleftehamn.

SOS was alerted at 12.09 and the rescue service is on site at the house. Smoke can be seen coming from the windows, says RC Nord, and one theory is that it is coming from an oven in one of the apartments.

Something really went wrong with cooking, the emergency services have confirmed. It is calm in the place, but the force will remain in the house for a while longer.

No ambulance has had to be called to the scene.
