Florida goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky excelled when he stopped a shot with his face mask, which is odd in itself. Even crazier was the save he made in the second period using the top of his glove.

Bobrovsky ended up completely backwards to the right of the goal, with his back to the ice, and blindly lunged to his left, managing to stop the shot that Tampa Bay’s Matt Dumba thought was going into what was just now an empty box.

Tampa Bay’s regular-time goals were scored by Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos, both set up by Victor Hedman.

Florida’s scorers were Sam Bennett and Vladimir Tarasenko and in overtime Carter Verhaeghe scored the decisive goal after barely three minutes.

Florida leads the best-of-seven series against Tampa Bay 2-0.
