1. The disastrous first voyage
I once had a parked car that stood outside for two years waiting for the scrap. By the time it was gone, everything had rusted again. The tires were flat. The brakes had weathered and moisture in the passenger compartment had turned the vehicle into a cake of mold.
I’m not saying that YIF was like that old Saab, but anything that could rust in two weeks’ time was rusty.
Erik Hvenfelt was the best on the pitch, yet YIF was behind 11-17 from the start. The six-ball deficit was flattering figures.
2. The disastrous second half

In 45 minutes, an entire city went from believing in gold to doubting that a final was even possible. YIF didn’t manage to change a match image that just got worse and worse and THAT is worrying.

I got the feeling that even before the timeout, Oscar Carlén started to file for game two and to get away from this game reasonably well.
Nothing 7-6. Nothing new. Just grinding grinding grinding to shake off the rust and find form.
7. Sebastian Abrahamsson
Had Christmas Eve, Midsummer Eve and name day at the same time.
He, together with Dan Beutler, has really done his homework. Most of the time, he stood just right, waited and waited and got the shots.
He swallowed the wingers whole like hot cinnamon buns.
He washed the penalty shooters down like cold liquid.
Raaaaap.
When he stepped off, 18-year-old Max Dahlén came in and impressed so much that the announcer called on the home crowd to applaud.
The whole of Ystad lay down on its back like a small dog.
8. Önnered’s defense
Right on the edge and all the time in the way.
Some of the home team’s shots barely had the power to reach the goal.
9. The sequel

It means nothing.
It’s all about how you deal with it. And then the question is only one: Can Ystads IF change personality within 48 hours? On Thursday it is time for match two.
It will be the total test of character. YIF can lose that match in different ways, but to do it this way again would be unacceptable.
10. Sävehof against SM gold?
Cod with eleven at home against Flensburg. Now they screw up in that cup and focus entirely on the playoffs. Work for IFK Kristianstad.
