Arne Slot is said to be close to succeeding Jürgen Klopp as Liverpool coach after the season. The 45-year-old has been successful at Feyenoord, where he has, among other things, won a league title in recent seasons.

But even if the Dutchman is now approaching a dream move to one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, there are aggravating circumstances.

In an interview with Dutch VoetbalPrimeur, former Liverpool player Ryan Babel has warned Slot about something that could make it difficult to fit in Liverpool.

– Apart from Klopp, I understand that at least 40 people in the club will leave. From kitchen staff to staff members and analysts. A coach coming in has to replace that and I think it seems difficult, Babel explained.

Ryan Babel is currently without a club, but represented Liverpool between 2007 and 2011.
