During this season, the 21-year-old has otherwise belonged to Kristianstad in Hockeyettan.

The club failed to step up in the Hockeyallsvenskan after a raucous final round, when Vimmerby drew the longest straw.

In his 36 games in the first division for KIK, Weigelt accounted for 40 points. In the qualification game upwards, there were nine more points in 13 games.

Now allsvenskan play still awaits for Weigelt, who according to Expressen’s sources is ready for the club.
