Former Helsingborg IF player is sentenced for rape

The girl who was raped was 16 years old at the time of the crime.

According to the district court, the plaintiff’s description of the incident meets the high requirements set by the Supreme Court for what characterizes an entirely credible story.

In the judgment, the district court writes that nothing has emerged that gives reason to assume that the plaintiff would have reason to falsely accuse the former Helsingborg player of such a serious crime.
