Over the weekend, Gamers Nexus posted a video claiming that EK Water Blocks have been struggling with some serious issues lately. Among other things, the company allegedly neglected to pay salaries to employees, suppliers and that they are said to have tax debts in the state of Texas in the USA.

Shortly after this was discovered, the company has now issued an official statement from the company’s CEO Edvard König:

Dear Community, Media and Partners,

First of all, I want to make it clear that we take this very seriously. It is true that some of EK’s external suppliers and business partners have experienced delayed payments. We humbly apologize for the difficulties this has caused them and for the lack of adequate communication.

The statement states that EK intends to settle all the debts to partners and employees that the company has. In addition, correction and improvement regarding corporate culture and transparency both internally and externally are promised.

In addition, the company has set up the dedicated email address: [email protected] where anyone who feels they have been wrongly treated can get in touch.

The company undeniably has a steep uphill battle in its attempt to rebuild the trust of customers and partners. We will find out where it all ends up in the future.
