Danish superstar Nadia Nadim, 34, is in mourning.
Her mother, Hamida, died in a traffic accident on Tuesday.
“Words cannot describe what I feel,” writes Nadim on Instagram.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning. Nadia Nadim’s mother, Hamida, died in a road accident. She was 57 years old.
“My mother was killed by a truck. She was on her way back from the gym,” writes Nadim on Instagram.
“Words cannot describe what I feel. I have lost the most important person in my life, and it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly”.
“A Warrior”
According to Ekstrabladet, the Danish national team player Nadia Nadim, who normally plays for American Racing Louisville, has been in Qatar in recent days as she is an ambassador for the World Cup.
“She was a warrior who fought for every centimeter of her life. She gave me life not just once but twice”.
“Life is unfair and I don’t understand why it had to be her and why it turned out that way.”
The 34-year-old and her four sisters lost their father in Afghanistan in 1999, according to Ekstrabladet.
Hamida Nadim will be buried in the near future.
