The beautiful royal left eye became a big talking point when the royal couple received the President of Finland Alexander Stubb56, and his delightful wife Suzanne Innes-Stubb54.

Queen Silvia’s eye was completely bloodshot, which everyone around could clearly see.
– The queen has been exposed to cold drafts in the eye, writes the court information manager Margaret Thorgren60, to Expressen.
However, the ailment did not prevent her majesty from participating in all program items during the first day of the state visit.

When in the evening it was time for the big gala dinner at the castle, the queen appeared again with her bloodshot eye.
– It really didn’t look any better than before. I really felt sorry for her when she had to smile and at the same time be photographed with the bloody eye, says a guest who met the queen at the castle.
According to the court’s press manager, Silvia has otherwise been healthy during the state visit.
