THE SUN. She prefers to avoid questions about her love life.
But now Loreen talks about boyfriend Charli Ljung’s support.
– That person knows me very well and it will be a security to have someone who has been with me for such a long time.
Loreen Talhaoui39, has been secretive about her partner of several years.
But at the after-party after Loreen’s success in the Malmö sub-competition, the boyfriend, the photographer, appeared Charlie Heath39, up by her side.
Even during the rehearsals, the boyfriend has been with her up on stage, as part of her team.
Loreen laughs and sighs at the same time when her love life comes up.
When Aftonbladet asks her what made them take the step to show up together at the media-covered party, she answers:
– It wasn’t really a step. You want to have your loved ones around you. The ones I love and my team.
What does his support mean to you in this?
– The only thing I can say, and the last thing I will say about this, is that that person knows me very well and it will be a security to have someone who has been there for such a long time. Okay, now we’ll let it go, he gets too much attention, she says, laughing out loud.
Big favorite to win again: “Up to the universe”
Everything points to Loreen winning again, eleven years after the win with “Euphoria”, on all measurable points, such as the odds, the song’s popularity on social media and the number of plays on Spotify and Youtube compared to the other contributions.
In addition, Sweden has sailed up as the odds favorite to win the whole Eurovision after Loreen’s performance in the sub-competition, before she has even won the Melodifestivalen.
– It’s impossible to get away, because everyone around says “have you seen the odds”. But what I’m careful about is that the odds are there. But for me in my world it doesn’t matter. Because anything can happen. Everything is up to the universe, says Loreen, and continues:
– But part of me is grateful. It’s been a long time since I was in this. You know, when you create something and people dig it, it’s a great feeling.
“Loreen Balboa”
How badly do you want to represent Sweden in Eurovision again?
– If the Swedish people want me to represent them in Eurovision, I am Loreen Balboa. I meat. I will take it seriously and do my absolute best. But only if they want to. I don’t want to be there if they don’t want me to be there, because then I’m not a worthy representative.
Is it a promise to the Swedish people?
– That’s how it is. It’s me and Zlatan when it comes to discipline.
Hard training before – this is how she does it
For 2.5 months, since she knew what the number with “Tattoo” would look like, Loreen has been in hard training to be able to carry out the physically demanding parts of the performance and at the same time manage to maintain a high level of singing.
– I have had a rather square life since the number was created. I train different types of stuff about two or three times a day, about five or six days a week. Not because that’s how you should usually do it, because you shouldn’t, you have to know what you’re doing.
“A lot of chicken and broccoli”
She also eats at set times and goes to bed before 11pm.
– Because otherwise I won’t recover. And then iron in the middle of the day, antioxidants in the morning, magnesium in the evening, no nights out…, she says, adding that there are even more things to list.
The first month she varied a protein-based diet, but then she gave up.
– It became too complicated, so I run the same thing. That’s an awful lot of chili, an awful lot of chicken and an awful lot of broccoli.
Loreen competes with the song “Tattoo” in the final on Saturday, which will be broadcast at 20.00 on SVT and on SVT Play.
