The 19-year-old man was shot just after 9 p.m. on the evening of September 13 with several shots. According to today’s verdict, he was tricked from Gävle to Stockholm, where he was shot dead.
The man who is sentenced for the murder is not the one who shot the murdered man, but according to the district court, he together with others planned the murder and tricked the 19-year-old to the place where he was shot.
According to the verdict, the convicted man must have driven the shooter to the vicinity of the crime scene and also driven him from the scene after the murder. The district court believes that the man who is sentenced to life imprisonment was so central that he is to be considered an accomplice to the murder.
18-year-old woman tricked the victim to the location
An 18-year-old woman from Malmö is also sentenced for having helped trick the victim to the scene. She is sentenced to ten years in prison. A third person, also from Malmö, is acquitted.
The shooting death in Vasastan was part of the violent wave of violence that hit Stockholm last fall.
According to the district court, the background to the murder is a conflict within the Foxtrot network. The murdered 19-year-old was previously convicted of drug-related crimes.
