Of course, it is Kärrtorp’s scout corps that organizes the Walpurgis fair celebration at Nytorp’s gärde. But an even higher number of scouts per capita was at the event this weekend. Then Scouterna’s day was arranged with scouts from all over Stockholm.

The young participants went around to various controls on the site where challenges in natural science, environment, healthcare and cooperation awaited.

– The design of the controls varies from year to year, but the basics are scout knowledge. For example, knots, ciphers, fire, lashing, nature and community involvement, says Malena Beijer from Kärrtorp’s scout corps.
