Dead person found in the water in central Gothenburg

A person has been found dead in the Göta River, near the Majorna district in Gothenburg, the police write on their website.
It was a passer-by who raised the alarm that he had seen a body lying in the water. When the rescue service and the police arrived at the scene, it could be established that the body had been in the water for a while.
A report of murder has been drawn up and a forensic examination is to be carried out to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death.
