In this call, you can apply for funding for projects that will directly or indirectly lead to small and medium-sized companies being able to strengthen their capacity and skills linked to their strategic competence supply. For example, by developing work methods, processes, strategies and plans for the work. You can also apply for funding for initiatives linked to increasing entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in Skåne-Blekinge. In the long run, this leads to new and developable companies, not least in the areas and within the groups where entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship are weaker. Support for companies connected to the supply of skills
Here, projects that carry out competence development, advice, coaching, transfer of knowledge to companies in the areas of strength with the aim of counteracting competence shortages are welcomed. Companies can receive support for knowledge development in areas central to the company, for example their core business, management skills, entrepreneurial and green skills. Companies can also receive support in developing their strategic competence supply work. For example, by training management and other people in relevant functions linked to the companies’ competence supply work.

Develop supporting structures around competence provision and entrepreneurship
Here, projects are welcomed that develop and test methods, working methods and cooperation in organizations to strengthen the supply of skills in the areas of strength. For example, by working to attract competence and recruit talent. Companies and research actors need to attract people from outside who already have the right skills, and here investments are welcomed that make this possible, for example by creating regional capacity and structure for attracting and retaining labor.

Equal and inclusive entrepreneurship
Projects that focus on developing structures to improve attitudes and strengthen skills for entrepreneurship especially among children and young people, women and people with a foreign background are particularly welcome. It can also be about skill development of employers regarding broadened recruitment and attractive employers. The project must have a clear focus and challenges in, for example, the field of gender equality are the basis for why the project is needed. Areas of strength in Skåne and Blekinge
Project investments requested in this call must be linked to the regions’ work with smart specialization, so-called areas of strength. This means that the projects must clearly describe how they connect and contribute to the region’s strategy for smart specialization. In Scania, the following thematic areas are designated: Tech, Life Science and health, Food, Advanced materials and manufacturing industry, Smart sustainable cities, ESS, MAX IV and the Science Village innovation system. In Blekinge it is: Smart industry; Tech and the Missions policy model. Missions is a method with a focus on societal challenges.
