Lightning, Cooper believes in turnaround: “Race to four”

The Tampa Bay Lightning must find themselves in a precarious situation down 0-3 in games against the Florida Panthers in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. But neither the players themselves nor the team’s coach Jon Cooper are even close to throwing in the towel.

Even if he himself has started to get a little tired of the clichés that are traditionally invoked when a team is at a disadvantage…

And of course it is. But the Lightning certainly wouldn’t have turned down one or two more wins in the series. In fact, those with losses of 2-3, 2-3 (ÖT) and 3-5 have not been very far away either.
