Advanced cell atlas opens new doors in biomedical research

--

– This platform marks a significant step forward in biomedical research. Our goal is to continuously enrich the atlas and make it an invaluable resource for understanding human health and disease, says the study’s last author Xuexin Li, researcher at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology (formerly at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics), Karolinska Institutet.

The research was carried out in collaboration with China Medical University and several other international partners in The Single Cell Atlas Consortium. The study was funded by Karolinska Institutet and KI Network Medicine Global Alliance (KI NMA). Co-author Volker Lauschke is CEO and shareholder of HepaPredict AB, co-founder and shareholder of PersoMedix AB and reports consulting work for Enginzyme AB. Other authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.
