The US assesses that North Korea has an extensive program to produce biological weapons. What does this mean and how big is the risk that this type of weapon could be used?
Mats Engman, head of the Korea Center at ISDP and former major general, believes that the risk of a large-scale attack with biological weapons is small, but that does not mean that this type of weapon will not be used.
– Interfering, testing on a small scale and seeing reactions, I don’t consider that out of the question, says Mats Engman.
